Confirmed vs Rumour
Half of what you'll read about GTA VI this year is engagement-bait. Everything below has a status, a source, and a date — and when a status changes, the changelog says why.
The big ones
GTA VI releases on November 19, 2026
Reaffirmed by Take-Two in their most recent earnings call. Previously delayed twice (from 2025, then from May 26, 2026).
Source: Rockstar Newswire
GTA VI sold 39 million copies/pre-orders in 24 hours
No official figures released by Take-Two. Treat any specific pre-order number as unverified until it appears in an official earnings release.
Source: Unattributed social media claims
GTA Online (VI) launches at the same time as the base game
Rockstar has said nothing about GTA VI's online mode timing. GTA V's online mode launched two weeks after the base game; a separate window for VI is plausible but unconfirmed either way.

A PC version exists / has a date
No PC version has been announced as of the last check. Any site or video giving a PC date is guessing.
